Mr Nikki Cowan versus Big Brother... The story of far!

I was recently asked to contribute toward an article, being written by journalist Kit Marsters for the Huffington post it concerns all things Big Brother and she asked me to talk about the treatment I have received, at the hands of Big Brother this year.

I am absolutely disgusted that I am writing this blog but the facts need to come out. I am constantly being asked the same question: "Why did Big Brother ban you from the Live Shows?" and I don't have an answer and haven't been able to get one either.

As the official BBUK reporter for Big Brother's Bit on the Radio and living only a stones throw away from Elstree Studios in sunny Borehamwood, I take it upon myself, each week to go to the Big Brother house for the live shows.

I usually arrive a good few hours before the doors open and chat to the "people" who have travelled from far and wide for a chance to boo their respective hate figure or cheer their latest idol.

After exchanging twitters with the audience members I meet in the queue (mine is @MrNikkiCowan btw) and getting some photos, I will then proceed into the Big Brother compound to watch the live show and report back on events later, Live on the radio show (@BBbitontheradio btw).

After doing this twice using a valid Applause Store ticket, on the third occasion I was now being referred to by security and members of the crew as "The guy off the radio". I was ushered into a makeshift office where I was told to ask for a pass. I was given one.

After this each time I would rock up I would not even show my applause store ticket, I'd say hi to everyone walk to the makeshift office and request my pass. On one occasion I was asked who I was. I told them my name and the shows name and I was given my pass. All I had to do was sign it out. I used my real name.

On one occasion I was even asked by the production team to be on the sidekick show "Bit on the Side" which I duly accepted. I was given one piece of advice, don't plug the radio show. I didn't. I did call Darryn Lyons a rude word and mentioned the dreaded Live Feed but I have been told since that I was a great guest and would be welcome back.

Then after spending 5 hours at the compound for the Finale of Celebrity Big Brother and having lovely chats with Sally Bercow, Kerry Katona, Brian Belo and Marcus Aken and leaving on a high to do the radio show... the next day for no reason, I was banned.

I arrived to report from the Live Launch of Civilian Big Brother and was greeted on the door by a panicked and irate producer. She instructed the security guards to barricade the entrance and not let me in. As if I was going to rush the gate. She insisted I wasn't with the radio show. She then refused to speak to me.

I ended up going to the main security gate, where it was apparent my impending meeting was radioed through as by the time I walked round I was once again met by a mob of security. I asked to speak to a producer and one of the Bit on the Side crew came out.

I was told it had nothing to do with the sidekick show and that they had no control. I was told I would have to leave and speak to one of the main producers in the week. Dumbfounded I went home and went ballistic on the radio show that night.

That week I then spoke to one of the producers of Bit on the Side who told me I had upset someone on Big Brother by saying i had permission to be there form him. I unequivocally denied it as that was a total lie. He said he would find out more and call me back.

When he called me back he told me categorically that, as long as I had a press pass or an audience pass I was allowed back and that I was most certainly not banned. I therefore got myself an Applause Store ticket like I'd done EVERY time and went back on Friday.

Within a minute of arriving at the queue on Friday for Tashie's eviction I was approached by a member of the applause store team. He asked to see my ticket and when I showed it to him he took it and walked off.

I apologised to the people I was talking to and followed him at which point I was beckoned over by a police officer and surrounded by security. I could hear people in the queue gasping and muttering as I was treated like a felon and questioned over my reasons for being there.

After explaining, I was told by the Police that I was not coming on to the site today and that I should go home. Gob-smacked I asked to speak to someone higher up as there had obviously been a mix-up in communication as I was told inexorably that I was not banned.

I was told to speak to the main gate. I was accompanied to it by a member of security and the police officer. I was then told over the phone at the gate by a member of the production team that they had no problem with me being on their show but that it was full. They said they had no control over who the main show let in and they didn't know why I was banned or indeed if I even was.

I was told by the police officer in a very condescending manner that I'd be best off going home. I reminded the officer that I was still allowed on Tesco's land which Big Brother use for the fans to queue up before the gates open. the security guard concurred, telling me not to cross the railings where the people queue. i duly conceded but returned to the queue.

In my possession that day were 52 posters, A3 size in colour with pictures of Big Brother housemate Tashie crying with a fish finger wedged in her mouth. Down the side of the picture was her name spelt using only the bread-crumbed-meal-time-favourite. As I spoke to people for their opinions I gave out a free poster.

Within one minute of handing the last one out, security frog-marched their way down the queue shouting for them all to be handed in. The people in the queue were in shock, asking to keep them even if just for a souvenir but were told instead that the posters would be burned or alternatively they could leave with them now and not come into the show like me.

I was even told not to do it and that it was wrong. I left soon after telling the queue not to get into trouble over me. I was further gob-smacked though when I was tweeted from inside the compound by one of my spies who had taken a photograph of the warm-up act Andy Collins, telling the audience that if they were in possession of one of my posters that they "must hand them in or get booted out!'

Needless to say I was not in a good mood for the radio show that night and shall not bother trying to get back in this week. I will however still talk to the queue. Let them try and stop me!!!!

BARTON IS A C....

Now I was going to say Cheat, Barton is a Cheat but on twitter people are using a much more appropriate word that I have promised myself on my blog I would refrain from using. At least not in the title anyway.

I have no problem on my blog however saying Barton is a fucking ill-bred, dark hearted, evil, sadistic, psychopathic wank stain on the English Premier League.

This blog isn't just about Barton though, it's more about Arsenal.

Arsenal players just want to play SEXY FOOTBALL but when an opponent plays PRISON FOOTBALL against them, going in hard or cheating like a 'Barton' they have shown on countless occasions they lack any kind of self control.

I don't understand why Wenger doesn't instill in the squad self control. Before today's game especially. Tell them "Barton's a cunt. Look what he did to Diaby last Season! If he does anything like that again just smile and walk away! SMILE and WALK AWAY!"

I feel sorry for Gervinho having never played in the EPL, why wasn't he told "no matter how hard they push you, and they will push you, just SMILE and WALK AWAY!"

The fact is they probably were told but nobody listened because what Wenger has to say goes in one ear and out the other. The players aren't listening to him because they don't even know if what he's saying is worth listening to. They don't trust him anymore.

Song stamping on Barton may not just see Song getting some kind of menial punishment from the FA but worse still, or better still depending on how you look at it, it may spell the end of the reign of Wenger.

Wenger has sadly lost the respect of the fans, and with the die-hard gooners travelling all the way to "FUCKING NEWCASTLE" (unleaded £1.49 a litre on the M1) It's no suprise all you could hear at full time on ESPN and probably all the way to Middlesborough was the Red Army in full voice singing "Spend Some Fucking Money!" and when I say full voice, if you've ever been to StJames's's you'll know they don't exactly put you near the pitch.

I fear Wenger will dismiss this as a political statement aimed at Cameron and the government in relation to spending cuts with the police after the riots. He just doesn't seem to get it. The fans should know by now, you can't tell Monsieur Wenger anything! You should've left early and beaten the traffic.

But worse still is it would appear to this curly haired bearded Gooner at least that before he lost the respect of the fans, he lost the respect of the changing room first.

Badly handled transfers, crap signings, no signings, no trophies (not even the Emirates Cup, Wenger would finish 2nd in an Arsene Wenger lookalike competition), I think the shrapnel left in the changing room are looking around the gleaming Emirates like a rat looking around the Titanic. And they're worried.

Whether Wenger did or didn't tell the players not to rise to Barton's goading, the Arsenal players involved could be forgiven. After all they've been playing shitty emirates wanks and asian bollocks. They want to play EPL. Testosterone and Adrenaline are pumping like John Terry on everything he sees. On top they want to prove that they're great at what they do, although they may not think the same of the man in charge. They're under more pressure than ever.

This does not excuse the disgusting and deplorable behaviour of Alex Song. Stamping on a players leg is totally unacceptable and I believe the FA should punish him and send an important message that clearly doesn't seem to be getting home. Although again I fear their consistency of delivering equal punishments to other players afterward will be somewhat insufficient as usual.

Equally Barton will get away with it just like he always does. The Yellow in the game ensures the FA will not take it any further. When people say we need Joey Barton at Arsenal it's not a compliment to Joey, it just means we need a cunt who gets away with being a cunt because whenever our players behave like a cunt they get caught.

Actually what we need is the FA handing out club dismissal notices to players who consistently flout the rules just like an employer has a disciplinary system at their companies and repeat offenders are fired. But that'll never happen. So forget about it.

Concerning Gervinho, there's no argument it wasn't a dive but actually a penalty and if you think I'm biased the stuff all football fans crave, the video evidence is all over Sky Sports News. There is also no question Gervinho raised his hand and struck the cheek of Joey Barton. He had to go.

Some would say Joey Barton over-reacted but who knew that Gervinho was a ninja and somehow struck in the perfect spot to connect to Joey's central nervous system causing him to instantly lose all muscle power in his legs?!

The fact is Gervinho should know better and will serve his ban like the stupid fucking idiot he is.

Song will have a few sleepless nights thinking about what he's done and sure enough get a bollocking off a bloke he holds no regard for on Monday.

That bloke, Wenger will look at his contract and lick his lips at the thought of his vast payout if the club let him go and then for the 10,000th time count the money he has to spend on players before putting it back under his pillow and we all know Barton's a c....

BBM = Barca Bench Messenger

Have you heard the latest revelation?

Apparently Cesc may be leaving Arsenal and going back to Barcelona. I'm in shock. I mean who knew. Did you?

The news may have passed you by. I don't know, you may not have a fucking head. I only just found out cos I happened to be talking to a lump of wood. Once again Arsenal are involved in one of the worst handled transfers ever!

I wonder how the club could handle it worse? I mean I guess they could pack him into a car boot and dump him on the steps of the Camp Nou but seriously!? And the poor fucking player, stuck in the middle he doesn't know what to do or say. He's tweeting about his new fucking Blackberry!

We've known that Fabregas wanted to leave and go home and go back to Barca since the day he got here and stepped off the fucking plane at Heathrow and saw the weather was shit, the girls were pale and no one spoke fucking Spanish. So why has this dragged on so long?

No I'm serious WHY?? Is it for the money? Is it to convince him to stay? Why has the club procrastinated so much and handled the transfer of Cesc Fabregas back to Barcelona so badly?

I mean, it was so obvious that it would happen it should've been written into his last contract.

Arsenal don't do football transfers, but if they did they'd be the most painful football transfers in the world.

And poor Cesc, he's invested so much into his time at Arsenal and the club hasn't backed his commitment with the support on the field he needed. Yes @Arsenal taught him English and Money Management and Diet n Fitness Regimes. But they never bought him a team.

At least Cesc has his new Blackberry though. Now he can use BBM. Barca Bench Messenger.
